We make the desert bloom! (See "Wikipedia May Be a Font of Facts, but It’s a Desert for Photos", New York Times article, 2009.)
In 2017, I moved to a company that makes software from one that does Web stuff. At the latter I worked on something that is hopefully used at Wikimedia Commons (by someone else besides me!).
I upload free licensed images from various web sites, some of which hide their licensing information in obscure places, so I started Commons:Where is the license on various sites? (COM:WHERE LICENSE) to help Commons:License review. I also created the {{PD-Gotfryd}} template, which isn't a lot of work itself, but marks over 300 simply beautiful high quality images illustrating nearly as many articles.
