Hoi Mr. N. kunt U uitleggen waarom het gebruikte uploadsjabloon of systeem voor werken in het Rijksmuseum na zoveel jaar nog steeds dit soort fouten produceert? Of kunt U mij uitleggen hoe U denkt deze fouten te gaan herstellen? Wie: Waar: Wanneer: en nog tal van trefwoorden worden vaak op onzinnige wijze afgebroken in leesteksten terwijl daarnaast het ontbreken van spaties bij onderwerp zulk soort woorden produceert "regionsbattle" etc. etc. en ga zo maar door. Hoi Peli,

Helaas ben ik maar een simpele programmeur en kan ik geen AI programmeren en ben ik ook geen medewerker van het Rijksmuseum. Het zou ideaal zijn als het Rijksmuseum zelf de foto's met info zou uploaden in WikiMedia Commons. Het Sjabloon is niet echt een sjabloon, maar gewoon een samenstelling van karakters dat dan een sjabloon wordt.

De website van het Rijksmuseum is niet consistent genoeg om onderscheid te kunnen maken wanneer een woord gebruikt wordt in een zin of als een begin van een indicatie.

Het down-, en uploaden van de data gebeurt met een Macrocreator script wat ik graag ter beschikking stel aan een ieder die de mogelijkheid ziet om dit te verbeteren.

Het script is niet het zelfde als een aantal jaren geleden omdat de website van het Rijksmuseum regelmatig veranderd op kleine details en deze door het script opgemerkt dienen te worden.

Mogt u zelf een AI weten die een tekst van de website om kan zetten in een goed sjabloon of iets dergelijks, dan zou ik dat graag willen weten want dan zal ik die in het script opnemen.

Verder hoop ik er op dat als mensen zo een fout tegen komen, dat ze deze dan even wijzigen, wat op zich niet veel werk is. Dat staat natuurlijk iedereen vrij om te doen.

Hoi Alf, bedankt voor de uitleg. Ik zou het script wel graag eens willen zien.

Er zijn globaal twee soorten problemen in deze kwestie.

B. De unsorted list van makers en onderwerpen worden niet correct vertaald naar een comma separated list. Dit levert tekstfragmenten waar spaties en komma's ontbreken, deze tekst is nog doorzoekbaar en met een beetje goede wil ook leesbaar. De engelse keywords zijn wel wat irritant want onmogelijk massaal te repareren.

Het andere aandachtspunt is met wie en waar. In tegenstelling tot wat in 'water' worden deze woorden direct opgepikt en geformateerd ongeacht de context zoals in Wie: ringermeer Wie: len Wie: n etc. (Wenen).

Door het probleem met de Wie: len ben ik in dit correctiewerk gekomen. Een spatie typen is inderdaad niet zo'n grote klus. Maar meer dan 150.000 pagina's in broncode lezen om spaties te typen is zeerzeker een enorme tijdrovende klus. Daarom lijkt het me zeker de moeite waard het script te perfectioneren ook al zou dat drie mensen een een week of meer kosten.

Suggestie: als het bij wat in water geen probleem is, kan daar misschien afgekeken worden hoe om te gaan met wie en waar, en nog een aantal keywords die minder vaak voorkomen zoals toelichting en oplage.

Dus heb wel interesse in helpen met verbeteren van het script. Ik kan hier niet met breedband uploaden.

B. Heb geen grote interesse meer om nog handmatig fouten op te lossen die massaal door een script aangemaakt worden. Dat is gewoon niet meer te doen. - Maar niet getreurd er zijn er nog een paar die het leuk vinden iedere kunstenaarsnaam door zijn complete biografie te vervangen (verstopt onder een pijltje), en ieder belangrijk trefwoord aan een wikipedia pagina te koppelen. Zelf vindt ik het formaat van de descriptions zonder links en poespas zoals ze meestal zijn het prettigst. Groet Peli (talk) 07:26, 4 January 2024 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Ik denk dat ik de issues met Wat/Waar/Wie mogelijk opgelost heb. Ik heb een alarm in mijn script gebouwd om dit te checken.

Mocht je het script nog willen zien, het is een .PMC bestand en helaas alleen met de Pulover Macro Creator te laden en bekijken. Deze is gratis te downloaden en ik kan je deze toesturen.

Laat maar even weten. Heb je misschien nog wat andere bestanden die verkeerd zijn? Dan kan ik kijken of ik hier nog iets op kan verzinnen.

Datering corpsballen-foto's[edit]

Hoi mister, even over "Dinner of the Leiden student sorority V.V.S.L. and their male companions on the occasion of the lustrum in 1940, AHM-F-59329-369." De website geeft aan "Published: 20 January 1940." Echter, in de glasplaat zelf is "3.2.40" gekrast. Ik ben daarom geneigd om deze foto dan onder "Netherlands photographs taken on 1940-02-03" te categoriseren. Ik heb eind vorig jaar voor AHM-F-59138-199 hetzelfde gevraagd, maar na een doorverwijzing heb ik niets meer gehoord. Dus zal ik dan 3 februari 1940 als datum aanhouden? Ik denk dat jou voorstel de meest voor de hand liggende is. Maar mogelijk is misschien ook dat de glasplaten zelf op die datum geproduceerd zijn?

Maar ik denk dat je moet doen dat je goed dunkt. Mochten we later meer inzicht krijgen in deze, dan kan dat altijd nog veranderd worden toch?
